I only hope she has not been worn down by the stress these past three years must have been on her by the tactics used by this religion to try and reduce the $ payment awarded by the courts in the first place,
True it must have been stressful but on the other hand, very therapeutic for a person who has been abused hopefully she has put this trauma in her psyche in a better place and she will lead a happier life with this all behind her now.

I admire this women for this:

Ms Conti has done a very good service with her taking it to the limit with appeals and it will make the WT a little more careful, and raise public awareness of these not so innocent end of the world cult leaders/policy makers.
We all no how much the GB hate getting a black eye in the public press and they ain't gonna live this down this is just the first few of many. IOW they have to change policy or else die the horrible death bankruptcy through shear stupidity beyond belief.
will the outcome of this case translate into any major changes for the way congregations are run?.

$7 million is nothing to sneeze at. I was rather astounded at @the 21 million I thought it was awfully high but was glad the WT would lose such a high amount.
Realistically 7 million even after the lawyer gets his cut for all his hard work will be a nice chunk of change.

i have noticed that theists have an aversion to the word theory.
as it is mostly attached to evolution, and they have a deep misunderstanding of what the word means.. i'm probably botching the following statement but the general idea is as follows.

Good and evil are labels we as humans put on things so these terms are intricately woven into the psyche by indoctrination and varies from person to person, cultures, and religious indoctrination.
We also stuff what we consider as evil about ourselves into our psychological 'shadow' of denial and project it on to those that have a psychological hook we can hang it on. Learning to come to terms with one's own shadow leads to many benefits and withdrawal of one's projections and a different viewpoint not clouded with all kinds of prejudice.
